📊✨ Celebrating Young Data Storytellers Across Trinidad! ✨📊
WiDS Trinidad and Tobago, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, proudly hosted the Data Storytelling Competition 2025, a nationwide initiative inviting post-S.E.A. Standard 5 students to explore real-world topics and present their findings through creative, data-driven video stories.
Between May and June 2025, 14 teams from over 10 primary schools collected and analyzed data from their own communities and transformed their findings into engaging narratives. Their work was creative, thoughtful, and insightful—covering everything from snack choices and screen time to graduation fashion and even hamster adventures!
On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, the Ministry of Education and WiDS TT hosted the Prize-Giving Ceremony at the UTT Point Lisas Campus to honour all participants.
